R Button

I have a big button on top of my Nizo S800 with the letter R on, and I've no idea what it does. Any ideas?

On the Nizo 801 which is near to the 800, the R button is the automatic disolve feature. Pressing R fades the shot to black then halts the camera. Backwind the cartridge, then start the camera again with R pressed. This will then fade up. The result, a cross fade between two shots.
